Why choose home euthanasia?

Home allows your companion to remain in familiar surroundings, surrounded by the people—and where appropriate, the bonded companions—they love most. Our longer appointments allow families to say goodbye without feeling rushed.

How long does an appointment take?

Most appointments take between 45 minutes and one hour, although there is never a strict time limit. We always move at the pace that's right for your family.

Should bonded companions be present?

In many cases, yes. Birds, rabbits and other small companion animals often form strong social bonds, and we generally recommend allowing bonded companions to remain together where appropriate. Your veterinarian will discuss what's best for your situation.

How far in advance should I book?

We offer appointments seven days a week and will always do our best to accommodate urgent requests within 24–48 hours where possible.

How will I know it's time?

Knowing when to say goodbye is one of the hardest decisions you'll make. Your regular veterinarian or specialist is best placed to assess your companion's quality of life and guide you through this decision. Our resource library also offers practical support to help you navigate this journey.

Do you offer cremation?

Yes. We offer a range of aftercare and cremation options, including individual cremation with ashes returned home, or cremation with friends where ashes are respectfully scattered.
